The main shopping center for residents in Scarborough is the Main Mall which is located in South Portland and is approximately a ten minute drive away.

Recreation and Beaches
Ferry Beach and Western Beach are neighboring beaches which together make up about 5,000 feet of beachfront land. Pine Point Beach is also located in Scarborough and can be seen from across the bay from Ferry Beach.
Scarborough also has many parks and recreation areas. Some of these include Memorial park, Scarborough River Wildlife Sanctuary, Springbrook Park, Jennie and Issac E.
