3rd Qtr 2011 - Greater Portland & Mid Coast Housing Report
In the 3rd quarter of 2011 the residential housing markets continued to stabilize with pricing flat year over year and transaction volume up 20%. The greater Portland region remains relatively strong as many different demographics continue to relocate and purchase both homes and condos in the city itself as well as the surrounding suburbs. The mid coastal region, largely a 2nd home marketplace, continues to remain slow and most likely will stay this way throughout the coming winter months. View more maine housing statistics here. |
