Stable conditions Continue in Residential Markets

Happy Thanksgiving and Seasons Greetings!  This October's housing results saw no major surprises as year over year transaction volume continued to be significantly down whilst median prices remained up in most communities. However, homebuyer activity throughout October and November has been strong with numerous homes going under contract as of late with buyers scrambling to buy before rates inevitably rise. Regional inventories dropped this past month as sellers hunker down for the winter, but with continued economic recovery the stage is set for improving conditions in our regional marketplace.
