Home Sales continue to Surge in Southern Maine
The greater Portland residential housing market continued to remain strong in May 2010. Additionally the lower mid coastal market sprang to life with Sagadahoc County posting a 141% transaction volume increase year over year! Prices further stabilized throughout the southern Maine region whilst Lincoln County continued to remain stagnant. Earlier, yet greatly welcomed summer weather coupled with the expiration of the housing tax credit have left the current markets feeling a bit sluggish as of late! Watch for reduced sales activity throughout the coming months.
