In 2009 the real estate markets of Lincoln County lagged behind their southern counterparts including Sagadahoc, Cumberland and York. In 2009 the average home sold for 234K compared with 304K in 2008 representing a pricing drop of 23%. Transaction volume was also down in 2009 with a total of 318 homes selling compared with 331 in 2008. The days on market averages also continued to rise clocking in at 201 compared with 190 in the year prior.)
