The real estate markets in South Portland Maine saw a total of 245 residential properties sell compared with 288 in 2010. The median sale priced dropped slightly from $198,000 to $194,000 although overall the markets appear to be quite stable like the rest of the greater Portland Maine real estate market. Going forward the residential housing market in South Portland like many of its southern ME counterparts is poised for growth in 2012.
