The Greely "Rangers" have been at the top of the standings over the last several years in several sports, including baseball, softball, men and women's lacrosse, and football. Greely's sports complex is impressive and one of the best in the state. The town also supports a strong adult education program.
Cumberland's proximity to Yarmouth and Portland also delivers educational advantages - North Yarmouth Academy, Cheverus Catholic High School, Catherine McAuley Catholic High School, and Waynflete School, are some of the best private schools in the state, and are all within 20 minutes of Cumberland.
