Cape Elizabeth real estate is Falmouth's counterpart to the south of Portland. An older community with traditional Maine architecture the current inventory of 87 properties has similar pricing to Falmouth.

Coastal Housing Overview
The coastal communities are even slower than the greater Portland region and I feel represent a good time to buy with the lower interest rates and prices bottoming out it seems.

Brunswick Maine is the biggest city in the mid coast region. Curently there are 180 homes on the market. In 2008 the median hold sold for 239K.Read more about Brunswick real estate
Bath is the next city up from Brunswick with great real estate values in a wonderful, friendly coastal Maine community. Current inventory is around 100. Read more about Bath Real Estate
Harpswell juts out from Brunswick and has100 units on the market with median price tag of 300K. With over half of the homes on the market being waterfront property.

Phippsburg is a large peninsula located off of Bath. Home to Popham Beach state park and with great hiking trails the median home sold in 2008 for 234K. Current inventory levels are around 20. Real more about Phippsburg Real Estate
Georgetown/Arrowsic is a peninsula that juts off of Woolwich just over the bridge from Bath. Similar to Phippsburg in many ways but on a smaller land mass. Current inventory is 28 homes. In 2008 the median price of a home sold was 290K.
