The City of Rockland is a cultural and economic hub for its section of the Maine’s Mid Coast. Positioned in Knox County on scenic US Route 1, and only 2 hours away from Portland, ME. With access by sea from Rockland Harbor, Rockland is both a destination for tourism, as well as a working town, and a pleasant stop-over point. In the past, Rockland was known to be a more industrial town than nearby Rockport and Camden, though today it thrives as a cozy residential community. The thriving community has the amenities of a larger city yet a more rural feel. Watch a local video of Coastal, ME.
