Single Family Home Sales Rise Cumberland & York County
Oct 17, 2017 in Market News

For the month ending September 2017 both Cumberland County and  York County saw prices increase with a 10% year over year gain in York & a solid 3.7% gain for Cumberland.

Total sales volume was also up a whopping 20% in Cumberland County with 400 single family homes selling for a combined sales volume of $163 million compared with 369 for $128 million in September 2016. York County volume was relatively flat and down 2.7% year over year.

What does this all mean?  Demand for single family homes still remains strong in the entire region with interest rates low and Buyer & Seller confidence high.

As we enter the slower winter season only time will tell if this trend of rising prices & volume will continue or if we are in for a correction.
