Testimonials from Past Clients
“Dedication and professionalism are two hallmarks of a quality real estate agent. With John, we got not only a dedicated professional, but a person of exceptional character with a genuine interest in finding us the right home. As first time buyers, we asked a lot of questions and grappled with indecision. In the end, because of John’s patience, guidance, and eagerness to help us succeed, we found a wonderful home that we know we’ll be happy in for many years to come. Thank you John!”

"We were looking to relocate to mid-coast Maine for our later years. We contacted John and told him the type of house and amenities we wanted. Without bothering us on many properties, he focused on our needs and each property he recommended was reasonable to investigate. He then found us the perfect one.”

My Life before Real Estate
I was born in Chatham, New Jersey where I lived until I left for college. In my earlier years I was an avid tennis (still avid!!) and hockey player as well as somewhat of an entrepreneur building a landscaping service and researching publicly traded companies. I attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a degree in Economics in 2002. Perhaps my fondest memory of my college years was when I spent a semester aboard a 125 foot tall ship...the SSV Corwith Cramer through a program known as SEA education.
I have had the luxury of spending every summer of my life on the coast of Maine, specifically in Small Point and West Point located on the peninsula of Phippsburg. Sailing and boating have been and continue to be my favorite endeavors. Relationships, family and friends are the most important to me and thus when my free time is not being spent with these people I also enjoy yoga, and reading. One of the more recent endeavors I have undertaken is lobstering!!! Any resident of Maine is entitled to obtaining a 5 trap recreational license.
I will always be considered "From Away," but I continue to do my best to blend in with the "native" population.
I moved permanently to Maine after graduating college. Organizations/companies/jobs I have worked at and been affiliated with in the past include Eagle Point Enterprises, an affordable housing real estate development company, carpentry as a self employed handyman, hospitality managment at Rock Gardens Inn, Migis Lodge and the Cape Arundel Inn, and web design work.
I am currently active with the following organizations:
